(All aprons and runways at the airport were asphalt, too). The above solution (adding an orphaned concrete taxiway) worked for me at an airport that had all asphalt taxiways (see above). In FSX, the building hides the taxiway, and the addition of the concrete taxiway removes flicker from all taxiway lines at the airport when FSX is run in "Preview DirectX 10" mode. As you can see, the taxiway connects to nothing. I have clicked on the building to reveal the narrow (6 meters) width of the taxiway. In the above example, I have used Airport Design Editor to add a short and narrow two-node taxiway with a concrete surface beneath an airport building. Just hide a little two-node concrete taxiway beneath an airport building, and all of the airport's taxiway lines will become flicker free in "Preview DirectX 10" mode! The taxiway does not need to connect to anything at the airport. Simply add a short and narrow two-node concrete taxiway to an airport that has flickering taxiway lines. All that is needed to implement the solution is a program such as Airport Design Editor. A single concrete taxiway at a given airport will do the trick. It seems that DirectX 10 mode likes concrete taxiways. Some airports have flickering taxiway lines when FSX is running in "Preview DirectX 10" mode.
